Tara English is a seasoned attorney with decades of experience in civil litigation, insurance law, and appellate advocacy. Known for her sharp analytical skills and strategic approach to legal writing, Tara has successfully handled complex cases at both the trial and appellate levels.

A Highland, Illinois native, Tara graduated from Highland High School in 1989 before pursuing her legal education. While in law school, she gained valuable prosecutorial experience interning with the United States Attorney’s Offices for both the Southern and Central Districts of Illinois, as well as the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office. These experiences provided her with a deep understanding of courtroom dynamics and case strategy.

Tara began her legal career as an associate with Reed, Armstrong, Mudge & Morrissey, P.C. from 1996 to 2000 and later served as of counsel for the firm beginning in 2006. Over the years, she has built a strong reputation for her ability to craft persuasive legal arguments, conduct thorough case analysis, and achieve favorable outcomes for her clients.

Tara has successfully argued cases before the Fourth and Fifth District Illinois Appellate Courts and has served as counsel of record in several reported appellate decisions, including:
